Our priority for our team... is to LEARN the game of baseball, the fundamentals, teamwork, and of course to have fun.
This blog is meant for encouragement and enjoyment of all our players and their families and fans.
Please feel free to leave comments for the players to read....
Please remember to BE POSITIVE and leave NO negative comments.

Bullets Celebrate the End of Baseball Season
The Bullet's Baseball Season has come to an end. Although we can't boast about a season full of wins...we can boast about a great group of boys. A group of boys who have come together as a team.
We can boast about our manager, Russell, and about Coach Benny. They have dedicated so much time and energy into the team.
We can boast about our parents/fans. The team has always had the BEST support.
AND...we can boast about having the BEST end of the season party ever!!!
Of course that is totally due to the BEST Team MOM- Becki .
She planned a great party with tons of WONDERFUL food (all prepared by Becki),
(Benny assisted on the grill...)
The boys had a great time...and I think the parents did too!!!
The day was full of swimming, wiffleball, washers, horse-shoes, ladder ball, FOOD, FUN, Trophies, Books with personal dedications, goodie bags and posters.
Everyone went home...a little tired, a little sun burnt, a little over fed, and a little sad that the season is over. All we can do is look forward to next season,
Practice in the off season and prepare for another year as a BULLET....
Thanks again to EVERYONE who made this season so much fun.

The Bullets.

These are the photos from the last game. Sorry there are not very many...and they are not my best work. Just like the team...I had an off game...
Don't worry Bullets.... we have another chance to play on Thursday. We can play hard and beat this team. Boys , we have to work on our throws. The over-throws are hurting our game.

Bullets Never Give Up
If slide show does not play on it's own-click on Picnik show -Bullets 6-1-10
The Bullets finally had the chance to play ball. The weather cooperated, and the team was ready for a battle. The bullets have had a hard time lately keeping a positive attitude but Coach Russell keeps reminding them that we can be winners.
It was a tough game with some tough plays and some tough calls....but the team showed spirit. The players stayed positive and played hard up until the last out. This is the FIRST game that our players did not have a defeated attitude. The final score may not have shown the positive attitude...but the coaches and the fans sure enjoyed watching the boys fight to the finish.
Remember Bullets...you can always walk away with your heads held high...if you NEVER GIVE UP!
Go Bullets!!!!

The boys played hard and are learning important lessons in the sport of baseball.
For the first time- we heard the boys talking to each other. Encouraging each other, giving instructions as to which base was the force... and calling "Hold the ball". The overthrows were minimal this game...and the boys are gaining confidence in their base stealing. I know the score ( 20-6) is discouraging, but I believe we are gaining ground. The boys are figuring out the game.
Way to go Bullets...you played hard, and you did not give up.
That is what makes a
BASEBALL PLAYER!
